CHAN Lai-kuen

Chan Lai-kuen (a.k.a. Dead Cat) graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in English, and from RMIT Hong Kong with a degree in Fine Art. Her book of poetry "Were the Singing Cats" (2010) was awarded the Recommendation Prize at the 11th Hong Kong Biennial Awards for Chinese Literature. Chan also Creates works of visual art and is a member of the letterpress studio Zi What. Her bilingual poetry collection "City of Dead Stars" (2014) is published by Association of Stories, Macao and Cerberus Press, Australia. Chan has a cat called Po Lei.
