LI Ning

LI Ning graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Hong Kong Art School in 2019, majoring in painting. LI has built a library of accumulated and self-created visual motifs. In his prints, he collages these motifs with his drawings, then uses linocut to create visually stunning black-and-white sci-fi landscapes populated with imaginary extra-terrestrial beings. 

His past solo exhibitions included "Welcome Jon Looka" (Gallery Exit, 2022, Hong Kong), "Inhale" (Yrellag Gallery, 2021, Hong Kong) and "Flipped Trip - A Solo Exhibition by LI Ning" (Hong Kong Open Printshop, 2020, Hong Kong). His group exhibitions included "Meet You There" (SC Gallery, 2022, Hong Kong), "ART NAHA" - Urban Exhibition" (Art Initiative Okinawa, 2022, Japan), "Art Basel" (Gallery Exit, 2022, Hong Kong), "20/20 Hong Kong Print Art Exhibition" (Hong Kong Heritage Museum, 2021, Hong Kong), etc.
