著名藝術家畢加索一生創作超過二千張版畫，當中不少版畫以減版法創作。他將減版技法和自己大膽獨特的風格結合，創作了具表現力而色彩鮮明的減版作品。

最後一場紙本以外【版畫360系列】工作坊邀請版畫家林樂新擔任導師。林樂新（小新）於北京中央美術學院版畫系畢業，主修木版畫。參加者將會在工作坊中了解及掌握減版木刻的印製原理，通過不同的刀法表現和顏色疊印，體驗木刻版畫獨有的刀味和趣味。

【導師簡介】
林樂新畢業於北京中央美術學院版畫系，主要以木版畫進行創作。對他來說，木刻是一種記錄的手段，也是對自己的一種情感寄託。通過對木版畫的重新詮釋，他的作品描繪了抽象的情感以及個人與社會之間的相互關係。

林樂新現擔任香港版畫工作室的助理版畫師，協助各種版畫項目、合作和教育項目。曾參與展覽包括《Art Basel 2023》（香港會議展覽中心，2023）、《拆/解邊界》（東京藝術大學，2023）、《藍藍自如》（香港版畫工作室，2023）、《創作的未來》（嘉圖現代藝術，2023）、《Nothin‘ Like the Taste of Print》（漢雅軒，2022）。

Do you know that Pablo Picasso liked to create prints using the reduction technique?

The renowned artist Pablo Picasso created over two thousand prints in his lifetime. Many of them were created using the reduction technique. His bold and unique style was presented in his prints with expressive and vivid colours.

The Printmaker, Lam Lok San, is invited as the instructor of this final workshop in our “Printmaking 360” series. San graduated from the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, specialising in woodblock printing. In the workshop, you will learn about the technique of reduction woodcut, carving methods, and colour layering. You will also explore the distinctive qualities and charm of woodcuts during the workshop.

[ ABOUT INSTRUCTOR ]
Lam Lok-san graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing with a major in printmaking, mainly works in woodcut. Woodcut is not only a means of recording but also a kind of emotional sustenance for himself. Through the reinterpretation of woodcuts, Lam's artworks depict abstract emotions and the co-relationship between individuals and society.

He is currently the Assistant Printer at Hong Kong Open Printshop, assisting with various printmaking projects, collaborations and education programmes. He previously participated in exhibitions including “Art Basel 2023” (HKCEC, 2023), “Debordering” (Tokyo University of the Arts, 2023), “Out of the Blue” (HKOP Gallery, 2023) and “Nothin’ Like the Taste of Print” (Hanart TZ Gallery, 2022).
